As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in shaping a positive learning environment for these students, empowering them to reach their full potential.
About the school
The school is located in Penzance and has primary and secondary students attend. They also offer home boarding for a range of students. They have excellent facilities and a large outside space for learning. We also have a number of schools in the area who are looking for Specialist Teaching Assistants.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Experience of supporting vulnerable people
- Be able to work 5 days per week - term time only
- Be punctual and considerate
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Key responsibilities
As SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Working 1:1 and in small groups
- Supporting classroom and outdoor learning
- Creating a safe ad nurturing space for all
- Liaise with a range of professionals
