Cleaners required for busy and vibrant hostel
Salary £10.73 per hour 40 hours a week
Urban Housing Services requires cleaners to work in our hostel in Wakefield. The hostel provides fully catered emergency accommodation for people seeking asylum. The hostel can accommodate up to 330 people. This post requires someone that is prepared to work flexibly including evening and weekends. The work environment is fast paced, challenging and very rewarding for the right dynamic individual.
This job role will include:
- Clean, stock and supply designated areas
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping
- Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks
- Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
Candidates must
Have proof of right to work in the UK
Be prepared to undertake a Disclosure & Disbarring check & BPSS check
Be sensitive to the needs of people seeking asylum
